Glasshouse Works is a mail order nursery specializing in rare and unusual hardy and tropical plants from around the world. Variegated plants are a specialty of ours. You are about to venture into the world of traditional & unusual plants. Plants proven to be premier for you garden, deck/patio and hobby greenhouse as well as many plants for hobbyists & advanced collectors.

We are not a whole sale compay.  We keep our quantites of each plant low so that we're able to maintain the selection shown.  We do not operate as a typical "retail" business as we're more on the proapgation side of things.  We keep thinks listed as "In stock" as long as we have the ability to propagate the plant to fill orders. This can lead to wait times.  If you have any questions in regards to wait times prior to ordering, please e-mail us at store@glasshouseworks.com.

We are located in 'downtown' Stewart, OH... nestled in the hills of south-eastern Ohio. Though Glasshouse Works is primarily a mail order source for hard to find plants, we are also open to the public on Friday's and Saturday's only from 10am-5pm currently closed to the public. Garden art, statuary, stone artifacts, and other handcrafted items made by selected artisans shown on our website are not available for purchase online but can be purchased from our showroom.
